Presentation 1:
The latest genetic model and importance of microbial activity at the initial formation process of seafloor hydrothermal deposit revealed by drilling cruises
(Tatsuo Nozaki)(JAMSTEC)

Presentation 2:
Long-awaited Core-Log Integration Experiment for Future Mantle Drilling Challenge
Moe Kyaw(JAMSTEC)
Language:English
With significant increase of downhole logging in the scientific ocean drilling, three decades long wish was finding logging technology that save operational time and reach safely the ultimate goal of without compromising the research dataset.
Fortunate to catch up the opportunity during the Oman Drilling Project (2017-18) and careful onsite supervision, the cores and log dataset were in best quality and hence positive results come out of high-resolution core-log integration.
Highlights of the core-log integration (Moe et al., 2020; Maehara et al., 2021) and offshore site survey for Mohole To Mantle (M2M) project (Yamashita et al. 2019), on-going logging interpretation research and development and future perspective of M2M will be introduced.
