Important Notes:

・Registration will remain open until October, but Early Bird pricing is only valid until July 31, 2026.

・For attendees requiring a visa: JFES will accept requests for invitation letters via the registration form until August 31, 2026. Please note that if your request is submitted on or after September 1, you will not be able to register through this form. After this date, registrations and visa requests will be handled on an individual basis.

GENERAL THEMES

The symposium committee is soliciting papers in the following areas:

  • Formation evaluation of conventional and unconventional reservoirs

  • New technologies and advancements in logging and sampling

  • New subsurface technologies (geophysical, geological, petrophysical, and reservoir engineering)

  • Case studies from oil, gas, geothermal, new energy, CCUS, geo-engineering, and scientific drillings

SPECIAL THEME 

We have set “Geomechanics” as the special theme for this symposium to share the latest innovations and field experiences with JFES participants. The symposium committee will organize both in-person and online invited presentations and panel discussions, featuring industry leaders from global universities, research institutes, and energy companies.

Best Student Award: An outstanding student presentation will receive this award. The awardee will also be nominated for the SPWLA student paper contest at the upcoming international SPWLA symposium.
